The School makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, the School does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.
In no event shall the School be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the School’s website, even if the School or an authorized of the School has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

The School does not warrant that any of the materials on its web site are accurate, complete, or current. The School may make changes to the materials contained on its web site at any time without notice. The School does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

Any claim relating to the School’s website shall be governed by the laws of the School Owner’s home jurisdiction without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
All course content has been created from the combined knowledge of the teachers and is accurate and correct in accordance with their experiences. However any creative industry is subjective and approaches to writing and teachings may vary.

Kindness is Key. We request all group members to behave with professionalism, tolerance and respect. In the event you feel a conflict has arisen and require assistance, please contact one of the group administrators.
Don’t yuck on someone else’s yum. We are writing romance and expect to have a full breadth of writers in our group. Some will be writing hardcore BDSM, others wholesome Amish romances, and everything in between. Difference is what makes the world go round. If you don’t agree with someone else’s genre or comments, please keep scrolling.
Bonus material. The Facebook Group is intended to serve as an adjunct to the How to Write Love course. As such, it is considered a ‘bonus’, not a mainstay of the course material (the online content offered via the Teachable platform and the supporting workbook PDFs). Members of the Facebook group may be removed at the discretion of the group moderators at any time and without prior notification. (Don’t worry, we really don’t plan to do this unless absolutely necessary!)
Inclusivity. Political, religious, bigoted conversations, as well as conversations not relevant to course material, will be removed at the moderators’ discretion.
Communication. Please do not contact people-course attendees or administrators-outside of the Facebook group (eg through messenger). If you would like to get in touch with the course teachers, you may use the website or official Facebook messenger service for the How to Write Love page, or email email@example.com.
Privacy. All conversations posted within the group are to stay within the group. Members of the group are not to share or screenshot content that is shared in the group, as it is entered here under the above expectation. (That said, as ever, remember anything posted online is then ‘out there’, so make good choices.)
Sharing work. Members of the group may choose to discuss their writing projects (whether past, current or future). However, as with any creative endeavour, we recommend caution when sharing ideas online. As much as possible, it is wise to protect your intellectual property and certainly to keep key ideas off public forums.
Self-promotion. During this period, we request members of the group refrain from sharing promotional material-this is not the venue for that.
Moderation. The moderators of the Facebook group will provide this space for attendees of the course to interact, but reserve the right to close down the group at any point without notice. The Facebook group is not considered to be an integral part of the course (which consists of the online videos accessible via Teachable and downloadable PDF course workbooks).
Behaviour. The moderators of the Facebook group accept no moral or legal responsibility for the views, opinions or behaviours of any members of this group, whether expressed within the group or otherwise.
Timeline. This Facebook group has been created in an effort to encourage a sense of support and camaraderie for course participants. The Facebook group is intended to remain active for the twelve weeks in which course content is available (unless shut down sooner at the discretion of moderators).
At its heart. So that members can get the most out of this group, let’s all endeavour to be kind, respectful, fun, open-minded and informative. We’re looking forward to seeing you all connect while here.
